holy woah, it’s been a minute.
idk if all of you know - but i’m a tax accountant, and the tax deadline was last week, so the past two weeks have been a blur for me. i literally hardly have had time to breathe the past few weeks, so i made the decision to delete the tumblr app off my phone, and my internet has been cut off for a little while, so i didn’t have time or effort in me to stock up the queue.
but! now that my earthly hell is mostly over (the 10/15 personal deadline and tax planning season is still in full swing, so i’m still on semi-hiatus), i’m back!! i have a couple of things i’d like to address:
- matchups : i’m working on them asap! no hard dates for anything, no schedules, i’m just going to work on them. i haven’t been writing recently and i’m just itching to work on matchups and kinktober!!  although - if you’d like your refund, my dms are open to request a refund, or you can go through paypal to request a refund! i would just like to preface, if you ask for a refund you are removing the obligation from me to do your matchup. after sending you your refund, i will delete your matchup information and move on to the next person in line!
- i have a new project that involves haikyuu and bnha (and dbz and atla but that’s for another day) that will be launching sometime in october!! i don’t want to jinx it, as it’s still in the works right now, but i’m really really stoked for it. i’ve been searching for a passion outside of writing for a while now, and i think i’ve finally found it.
i’m sorry to anyone i’ve inconvenienced by just dropping off the face of the app, but i had to do what was best for me in those moments of high stress and high anxiety. i couldn’t take care of myself, my coworkers, and my clients while also being worried about tumblr. i hope you guys understand!
antyways! i hope you guys have been enjoying the start of september, and now we’ll be going back to our regularly scheduled programming! 💕

re: re: re: hot ankle pic!!
Two things in the face of this new adult content policy:
1. There’s about to be a small flood of "where else you can find me” posts from artists whose work shows up frequently on this blog. Most have stated they intend to stay, but I wanted to prioritize that information before the shutdown. We’ll be back to regularly scheduled programming ASAP. Speaking of which...
2. @staff can pry artistic nudity from my cold, dead hands. As always, if I like the art, I will reblog it, female-presenting nipples and penises and all. They have stated that ~artistic~ content can stay, but we all know how well the algorithms work and I am very excited to see how the corporate human overlords solve the centuries-old question of “is this image Art or Porn” once and for all.
I will of course continue tagging for nsfw content.
If you’d like to further spite @staff, feel free to send me links to your nsfw art to reblog.

Welcome Studeo Athletes
Tumblr media
As many of you have noticed there are a lot of new faces around the gym!
One of the downtown (formerly) CrossFit Gym’s recently announced that they’ll be ending their CrossFit Program - so a lot of athletes have come looking for a new home!
As I (Thor) mentioned in previous posts about celebrating ‘surviving COVID’ as a company... our work has really just begun, since all of our grants & subsidies are coming to an end but we’re still down 30%+ in memberships, so the next 6 months is the make or break for Raincity Athletics surviving COVID-19. The recent announcement of Studeo ending their CrossFit program will likely be the thing that guarantees our doors stay open, and we can get all our existing classes & programs back online sooner than later :)
Studeo New Member Survey
To the new Studeo members that are coming in - Welcome!
Though we do not offer special deals or discounts to members (and you can be confident we’ll NEVER do a groupon to flood the classes full) what we do offer (and this offer is open to others who have bulk groups from a company) are corporate discounts & rates when members sign contracts in bulk (this is typically offered in lieu of client referral credits).
New Studeo Member TODOs
If you’re coming over from Studeo, please take a second to fill out our intake survey ASAP: www.rncty.ca/form/studeo
Take a few minutes to read our FAQ for new members: www.rncty.ca/faq
Since logging scores may be new to many of you, make sure to check-out our ‘Is it Rx?’ post & faq section: www.rncty.ca/rx-faq
For all account related issues or questions, email [email protected]
Addressing Concerns of Current Members
Many don’t know this, except the OGs who have been around since the beginning, but this is the 3rd time we’ve had a major influx of members from another facility. So I’d like to address some concerns I’ve been hearing, or that I’ve heard in previous times this has happened... as always, never hesitate to bring feedback up with a coach or myself directly.
What if classes fill up?
Then we add more :) More athletes = more opportunities to bring back MORE classes, like our S&C program, our ‘JUST LIFT’ classes, Friday classes (instead of or alongside open gym), and not to mention continuing to increase class capacity. There’s TONS of room in the schedules for more classes & increased capacity.
Anytime classes start filling up regularly you can be confident we’re actively working to add more as soon as possible.
Will it affect the Raincity Culture?
Every gym has a different community & culture. Raincity is known throughout the province for it’s incredible community, and has been for 8 years (as of August 1st). As I mentioned before, this is not the first time we’ve had a massive influx - so everything you know and love about Raincity is thanks to prior influxes of members already. I can promise you the growth of our membership base will only contribute to the growth of our incredible community & culture.
...What if it doesn’t? That’s why there’s a ‘negative attitude clause’ in your contracts - I’ll have no issue cancelling memberships of those who don’t contribute to our positive environment :)
Other Concerns?
Contact me (Thor) anytime :) In the interim, please welcome our new friends with a smile, ask if they need help with anything, and make them feel at home in their (hopefully) new home and lets all be awesome and fit(er) together <3

Friday Favorites: Raised Garden Beds and Vintage Tea Cart
Hello there! Welcome to another week of Friday Favorites and Remodelaholics Anonymous! Before we dive into the favorites this week — a quick announcement!
PULL OUT THE PLYWOOD!
A few times a year, we pull out all the stops (like this) and do a huge week packed with new tutorials, guests, and inspiration around theme, and our next big week is all about PLYWOOD, so we want to see your projects! Leave them in the link party below, or if you’d like to be a featured guest here on Remodelaholic, head over here for more details and to submit your project ASAP. We’ll also be doing a DIY challenge (blog hop style) for new plywood projects, so if you’re interested in joining in with a brand new DIY project and tutorial, drop us a line at [email protected] with “plywood challenge” in the subject so we can get you more info.
And now… back to our regularly scheduled programming….
We love seeing and sharing great ideas — so send them our way! If you have a blog, you can link up below, and if not, drop us a line here or message us on Facebook.  It is always a pleasure to see what everyone has been working on each week. The garden bug is coming on hard. I’m ready for spring and garden beds. It is still cold outside though so I might have to focus on some other indoor DIY projects.
Favorite Upcycle: I love when I see projects where something random turns into something beautiful. This windmill blade decor was made out of an old fan. Sadie Seasongoods is so smart and resourceful!
Favorite Laundry Room Idea: A folding table. I use my bed now, but would love to have a table in my laundry room. Put it on the list for the next house and see how Twelve on Main executed this lovely table.
Favorite Kitchen DIY: Raggedy Bits gave this cheese board a nice touch with some paint and other touches. I love that it provides a place for some cute decor and corrals spoons.
Favorite Platform Bed: Platform beds seem so nice, because you only need a mattress and they add some gorgeous wood to a room. Grandma’s House DIY built this simple platform bed.
Favorite Raised Garden Bed Layout: I’m not always the greatest gardener, but these raised garden beds look perfect. I love the raised idea and in a horseshoe shape, really makes great use of the space. See how the beds came together over at CJ Fitness.
Favorite Raised Garden Bed Tutorial: Just Measuring Up shares how to build raised garden beds too. Now you can layout your garden and build the beds to fill it up.
Favorite Craftsman Exterior: The porch, curb appeal and more add to the charm of this craftsman. It is one of our favorite home styles. Find the plan for this home over at Architectural Designs.
Favorite Vintage Upcycle: This tea cart has all the charm! The Navage Patch just added some paint and restored it a bit to make it this beauty.
Love this mudroom bench that would be so easy to make! What do you think? PS – You could easy add baskets underneath for catching shoes! #paradeofhomes (there are cabinets across from it for storage!)

Favorite Bench: A simple bench, that looks amazing. The “X” pattern on the back really makes the whole thing! Switch out the pillows with each season or holiday for some fun color pops.
Beautifully styled kitchen shelves by @therusticfarmhouse SO lovely! Do you have open shelves in your kitchen? How do you style them? Get featured, use #imaremodelaholic

Favorite Open Shelves: Open shelves can work when they are styled correctly. Keep things orderly and they are sure to look great. I love how these open shelves are not just pretty but useful. Stacking plates and bowls along with lining up glasses really works for open shelves.
